Dear Brooklyn Families, Staff and Community,
It is my pleasure to celebrate the winners of the Lion's Club Awards for the third quarter! We are very proud of the hard working students at Brooklyn Middle School and thank the Lion's Club who celebrates our students! We celebrate our students who have a growth mindset and work hard to achieve success! “In a growth mindset, people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work—brains and talent are just the starting point. This view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment.” ( Dweck, 2015). We believe that having a growth mindset is essential for our students and staff and we are happy to celebrate hard work!
